The privacy of their Dining Room is available for receptions of up to 32 people - for smaller functions, you can just hire half of it.
It is a beautiful building that can trace its roots back to Tudor times, with low beams, intriguing layout and few windows, all of which contribute to the character of the pub.
Original features, candlelight and open fires create an intensely warm atmosphere whilst subtle lighting adds intimacy. It has that most sought-after, cocooning quality.
The Horse & Jockey is available to hire for Funeral Receptions. Part or the whole of the pub can be hired and we will sit down with you and devise a menu and seating layout tailored to your requirements. The kitchen produces fresh dishes and our passion for country living influences every element of our menus.
For us the Horse & Jockey is an extension of our home and we welcome everyone to come and join us. We are located just a few minutes drive from Bedford, in the friendly village of Ravensden.
